Créneau is a youth and community education organisation.

It was established in 1993 with main aims to develop voluntary work activities, international workcamps and social inclusion projects.

The ex-owner of the castle, Mrs Monin, was born and grew up here. In the beginning of 90ies, she decided to entrust the site of the castle to the organisation Solidarités Jeunesses Auvergne / Rhône-Alpes. Legally, two parties have signed the lease agreement for a period of 99 years.
