Depending on the season, the number of persons living in the castle varies from 6 (in winter) to 50 (in summer). There is a permanent team of paid workers (3 in the beginning of 2008), international volunteers (3 to 6) and French (1 to 2).
Occasionally organization hosts groups for periods from 3 days to 3 weeks: youngsters with trainers, families with children, hikers, pilgrims, groups from leisure centres, teenagers for summer workcamps...
Even if there are links with local organizations and sports clubs, there is still space for additional activities to foster the exchanges between Créneau and local population.
